The Legend of Lankapuri
This is my mythological historical fiction book. The central character is Ravana, but I wanted to look at him from a different perspective rather than simply portraying him as the traditional villain. The story explores Ravana, Lanka, his family, ambitions, knowledge, power, relationships, conflicts and ultimately the destruction of his kingdom. It's written as an epic story, mixing mythology, history-inspired elements and fiction. The goal isn't to claim that every event in the story is historically proven, but to reimagine the world of ancient Lanka and Ravana through a narrative.
